Other UV Inks

We have a variety of UV inks.   To classify them, we can break them down into various categories and sub-categories.  These are completely invisible/partially visible, visible with UV light, visible under shortwave or longwave lights, by color and solvent.

Invisible UV Inks:  We have two kinds on invisible UV Inks

Invisible normally but can be seen with a UV light

Inks visible with a longwave UV light (blacklight) - 365nm to 405nm

Blue/White Ink - Alcohol based

Yellow Ink - MEK based

Red Ink - Acetone based

Green - Water based, sunlight stable

Bi-color Longwave UV Red/Shortwave UV Green

Inks visible with a shortwave UV light for higher security - 254nm

Invisible normally and cannot be seen with a UV light.  Special UV Camera and UV filter needed to view.  UVunVis System.

Partially Visible Inks:  In addition, we also have a variety of inks that shine quite brightly under UV light, but can be sometimes be detected depending on the surface.  On a colored surface or skin, the ink is very difficult to detect, although on white paper, you can see the ink as faded colors under normal light.  Under UV light, the colors become very sharp and vibrant.

Infrared Ink - Alcohol based.  for those interested in securely marking items, you might also want to consider our IR ink
